  We had very high expectations for this restaurant. However, the food was a disappointment. The mussels were more like a chorizo soup with no class at all. The tomato tartar felt like a tomato can. Can't imaging how a place with such nice atmosphere could serve food that was executed so badly.
  If you are in Brewster this is not the place to go.

  As fine a meal as my wife and I have ever had, period. The attention to detail at this restaurant should be what every fine dining restaurant strives for. The service was impeccable, the décor and table settings are delightful and most importantly the food is perfect, well thought out, well displayed and as delicious as any I have ever had. If you want a true dining experience please visit the Bramble Inn, you will not be disappointed.

  People look to us for places to go to eat on the cape, this is not a place I'll return to. Sat down at 5:38 and ordered a bottle of wine. The manager came back with an apology that the wine we ordered was out of stock and that he would upgrade us to a better, more expensive wine and charge us the lesser price. That was the last person we saw at our table for the next 40 minutes. At 6:20 went looking for a waiter to take our order, found the manager and asked him where our server was. His response was "it's Restaurant Week". A waiter showed up saying that he wasn't our waiter, but would take our order. At 7:00 I had to find the manager again to find out why we hadn't been served our appetizers. His response, "it's restaurant week": no apologies, it was our fault for being there. The food was alright, call it average at best, definitely not worth the price, which is among the highest on the Cape. I could have understood that they were busy, but at no time did anyone apologize for the poor service, and there is no excuse for that!
